Metro Label buys Stanford’s show machines
Chicago, IL, September 12, 2006 – Stanford’s president, Mr. Séamus Lafferty, announces that Metro Label Inc. of Toronto, Canada has purchased the shrink sleeve finishing equipment on display at Labelexpo Americas.
Announcing the sale, Mr. Lafferty reported a very busy first day at the show, with a high level of interest in the latest version of Stanford’s shrink sleeve finishing equipment. “This being the first showing of this equipment at a Labelexpo in America, I am very pleased with the reaction we’re seeing. We are featuring a new approach to solvent dispensing, as well as a new inspection option, and the reaction of the industry has been very positive”, he stated.

Stanford continues expansion in Europe with the appointment of European Sales Manager
Chicago, IL. September 11, 2006 – Salem, Illinois-based manufacturer of shrink sleeve finishing equipment, slitter rewinders and Doctor Machines®, Stanford Products LLC, announces the appointment of Michael Waterman as European Sales Manager.
Based in Ireland, Waterman will have responsibility for the management of all of Stanford’s activities in Europe, Russia and Turkey. He will assume responsibility for the existing network of sales offices, and spear-head plans for the further expansion of the sales, service, and support structure throughout the region.
Announcing the appointment at Labelexpo, company president Mr. Séamus Lafferty stated: “Michael’s appointment represents another important milestone in the on-going development of our company.
