STANFORD BRINGING NEW MODEL 3038 TO CMM INTERNATIONAL 2003
(Salem, IL) Stanford Products LLC will be demonstrating their Model 3038 Slitter Rewinder at CMM International 2003.
Released in the spring of 2002, the Model 3038 is available with rewind diameters of 24" or 32", web-widths from 62" to 70" and will run at speeds up to 2000 FPM. The unit is designed to run a wide range of packaging films from unsupported to laminated and printed films as well as light papers.
A duplex differential center wind slitter, the new Model 3038 is particularly ergonomic and operator-friendly in design. It features four PLC-based touch screens for convenient operation. In addition, it features two individually controlled telescoping roll pushers, the latest AC Vector drives, superior tension control, remote monitoring capabilities and a shaftless unwind with roll lift for easy master-roll-loading.
Special features incorporated in the machine on display at CMM include an affordable digital knife set-up system as well as a new automated unloading system.

STANFORD ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF MODEL 738/738 HC
(Salem, IL) Stanford Products LLC announces the introduction of a new technologically advanced Slitter Rewinder. Available in widths from 30" to 45" and with rewind diameters up to 32", the Model 738/738 HC is capable of running extensible films, film laminates, pressure sensitive label stock and paper.
This latest Stanford design is loaded with time and effort-saving features such as pneumatic knives, a rewind roll pusher, a rewind unloading system and unwind roll lifts. A step-in platform allows easy access to the slitter knives.
The PLC-based control system with AC Vector drives provides recipe storage and recall with Ethernet capabilities. All machine function is controlled through the latest in touch screen technology with interlocks and safety guards providing for a high level of operator safety.

STANFORD ANNOUNCES BUYERS OF THREE SHOW MACHINES
(Salem, IL) Reporting a very busy first morning in Booth 3602, Stanford Products LLC announces the buyers of all three machines on display at CMM International.

The wide-web Model 3038 slitter rewinder has been purchased by Action Packaging, City of Industry, CA.
Mr. Howard Applebaum, president and owner of Action Packaging, stated "I buy only Stanford equipment because it is operator-friendly, well engineered and built to last". "I have used Stanford equipment for 18 years and enjoy a solid working relationship that ensures me the best service and support available in the industry", he said. Stanford's newest slitter the narrow-web 738HC has been purchased by Sixto Packaging. This Miami-based company is family-owned and provides a complete printing and laminating service.
Of Cuban origin, the company is run by brothers Felipe, Emilio and Andres Sixto who continue to grow the business started by their parents. Thirty-two years after the company was founded, three generations of Sixtos are now involved in its daily operation.
Speaking of his most recent Stanford purchase, Felipe Sixto stated "we purchased Stanford because of our satisfaction with our 20 year old Doctor Machine® and the fast service we received on the few occasions it was needed". "When it became time for us to purchase a new slitter, Stanford was the obvious choice", he said.

Stanford to be Represented in the UK and Ireland by Jenton International
(Salem, IL) US-based manufacturer of slitters and rewinders, Stanford Products LLC, has appointed Jenton International as the agency to cover its sales in the UK and Irish markets.

Stanford Launches Newest Doctor Machine® the Model 142 JR
(Salem, IL) Stanford Products LLC has just released the newest addition to its trademarked line of Doctor Machines® - the Model 142 Jr.
Designed specifically for the narrow-web market, the Model 142 Jr is capable of winding a wide range of products from light gauge extensible films to pressure sensitive label stock.
Available in single direction or reversible models, this rewinder utilizes the latest in drive and control technology making it capable of running extremely light tensions. With a web-width of up to 10" (254 mm) and unwind/rewind diameters to 24" (610 mm), the 142 Jr operates at speeds up to 1,500 fpm (450 mpm) with roll weights up to 200 lbs (90 kg).
Powered by a two-motor AC vector drive system, this machine features full touchscreen control, a splice table, trimming, a dancer-position tension control and the option to add video inspection.
